This guide explains the standard Four Down format, the commissioner and member roles, and the website workflow. Each league’s approved rules remain the authority for that specific league.

Confirm your picks
Highlighted selections are drafts until submitted. Changing a submitted unlocked pick requires reconfirmation.
3 · Follow
Watch live results
Each selection locks at its game kickoff. Kicked-off selections reveal while later-game picks remain concealed.
4 · Finalize
Complete the week
Weekly standings are provisional during play. Official season records update after the commissioner finalizes the round.
Standard gameplay
The Four Down base rule set
- Weekly objective: the standard format requires four picks, and all required picks must be successful for a weekly win.
- Pushes: a push counts as an unsuccessful pick.
- Incomplete entries: missing required selections result in a weekly loss when the round closes.
- Selection types: team lines are standard. Over/Under totals may be enabled by league settings.
- Straddles: both eligible team sides of the same game may be selected and count as two picks.
- Weekly scoring: finalized weekly points are zero-sum across the league.
- Postseason: commissioners may configure different required pick counts and teasers by round.
Privacy and timing
Every game has its own lock
A selection can be changed until its associated game begins. After kickoff it locks and reveals according to the league’s gameplay rules. Before kickoff, the commissioner can see completion counts and submission status but cannot inspect unrevealed member selections.
Always review your league’s approved rules. They control the exact pick counts, teasers, available selection types, line release timing, scoring value, and postseason configuration for that league.
